We had a lovely one night stay after Christmas. The staff were extremely attentive (without being obtrusive)! The place was really nice with a lovely balance of dark colours and warm wood.
Food and drinks were all great, we enjoyed some delicious cocktails and the evening meal was delicious.
The swimming area is rather small but everyone was able to have a space. One of our highlights - they have a swimming costume dryer! This is an item that is missing in so many swimming pools :)
Even though we travelled without kids, we noticed how family friendly this place is. High chair everywhere, own pool area, play room and a nice evening buffet.
It was a great little escape and I’m certain in warmer times / grape season a lovely place to walk around and explore.
The hotel is modern and well designed and includes a nice spa area, gym, good food and of course a great selection of national and international wines. The six course dinner was amazing and the breakfast offers basically everything you can expect (small minus point that breakfast is served only until 10.30. The staff immediately starts to close it down at that time). Besides the hotel a must-do is a tour through their own winery nearby followed by a wine tasting!
We spent one night here. Hotel rooms and overall service were great. Spa/ pool area is unfortunately under dimensioned and not made for so many guests. Dinner tasted just ok, presentation was however great. Breakfast had many options with good quality. Textile Sauna was closed, which was unfortunate.
Excellent facilities (I only missed one pool / sole pool / cold water pool or similar directly in the wellness sauna area), great rooms, super-friendly staff in every area (especially to mention Norbert, our waiter in the evening restaurant. He was outstanding!). Some more signposts on the way from highway to location would be nice, you only see "St. Martins Therme" everywhere.
Stayed with my girlfriend for my birthday.
The hotel is located in a very peaceful place with fields so wide that you can see the horizon in 360 degrees.
A welcome drink was offered upon check-in.
The staff is excellent and the hotel is beautiful.
It has a spa and other facilities, and its restaurants are of high quality.
It is a great place if you want to spend some relaxing time.
Shuttle service offered by the hotel is a great plus. Easy to reach from Vienna by S-Bahn with transfer to the hotel.
---Rooms---
Room is spacious enough with nice interior and brand new interior.
Absolutely horrendous is the time triggered or motion detector on the restroom. The loud clicking noise drives you insane and can't be turned off. Has the vibe of a water drop torture device. We opted to block out the motion detector with paper. Maybe it was just our room?
---Food---
Breakfast has a great variety and offers a pancake, omlette and eggs Benedict station. All the other staples expected from a breakfast buffet are there. Coffee is available from two coffee machines by self service.
Dinner was okay but trying too hard to be haute cuisine; often less is more. Dishes during supper tend to arrive at the table lukewarm. At this price point and what they are trying to do that shouldn't happen.
We only visited the Mordor Bar once. The service was great and the had the usual cocktails and some Resort creations incorporation Scheiblhofer's wines.
---Spa---
Split between the kids area with a pool, the main pool and the separate adult area including the sauna.
The main pool is unfortunately also attended by parents with their kids with makes the beds there less interesting due to the noise. Although advertised as silent area this is not the case. Therefore the adult area at the Saunas tends to get overcrowded pretty fast.
The outdoor portion of the main pool is a nice addition and large enough.
---Staff---
Everybody was extremely attentive, friendly and supportive. Thanks to all the staff for making this stay memorable.
Not much to do in the area but if you visit The Resort you are probably anyway there to relax and enjoy the wines. Andau offers some great wineries which all provide tastings and tours.
We stayed there for 3 nights with our 3 y.o and it was amazing! The Staff was super friendly and our daughter felt like a real Diva with her tiny bathrobe. The kids areas are really nice. The 3 of us had an amazing time.
Of course mom and dad enjoyed the Sauna and the gym area a lot ;)
the food was also super nice! A big buffet in the morning and a 6 course menu at the evening, (there was an extra kids menu).
Highly recommend it! Also for families with kids who like to swim and relax :)
We had an amazing „time-out“ as a couple, enjoyed the fantastic dinner and great lunch and are looking forward to coming back another time - even with kids, as there are plenty activities for them to chose from.
